Hi, I'm Jenny.

My inspiration has mostly come from my travels: Canada, Antigua, South East Asia, USA, Ecuador Iceland and of course England. You will find this website packed with numerous photographs  from my holidays in many wonderful places!

I recently got to test out a new camera - a Fujifilm X Series, but my usual tool is my good-old Nikon D3000, which I got for my 17th birthday (probaby the best gift I've ever recieved). It's been through a lot and, yes it's getting a bit old now, but it's still as reliable as ever. I recently invested in a macro lens and a wide angle lens, so have been playing around with these a bit. I've loved getting up close and personal to nature and also managing to end up with a photograph that's true to what I am seeing.

Previously having worked as a magazine Editor, I have also been lucky enough to do a fair few hotel and restaurant reviews, so you will also find plenty of food shots on this website - a fantastic way of combining two of my favourite things: food and photography. I am now developing a career path in Mental Health and my photography gives me an outlet. A way of looking after myself after hearing and seeing difficult things.

So, have a browse and see what you think. I'd love any feedback you have on any of my images (either positive or constructive of course), and I will try to keep the inspiration coming!

Ever since I picked up my first - very simple - compact camera at the age of 12, I was in love. I quickly started taking as many photographs as physically possible; of people, landscapes and nature. Over the years I have developed my own style, and my passion really lies in natural landscapes, however I have a particular soft spot for anything in black and white, and I'm now getting pretty into food photography and macro.

I did A Level Photography after having filled my Art GCSE scrapbook with just one medium (my art teacher wasn't best pleased with my reluctance to paint), and taught myself Photoshop. I had dreams of becoming a photographer but, as many do, chose the more practical path of a Psychology degree at university. Now, I want to try my hand at getting my images out there, even if it is just to learn if I'm any good!
